Smart TVs handle IPTV apps a little differently than streaming boxes, since Samsung and LG each run their own operating system and app store. IPTVON works on both, but the setup path depends on which brand you own and how recent the model is.
What You'll Need
- Your IPTVON Xtream Codes login or M3U playlist URL
- A Samsung TV running Tizen or an LG TV running webOS, connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet
- A few minutes to install an app and enter your login details
Setting Up IPTVON on a Samsung Smart TV
- Open the Samsung Apps store from the Smart Hub home screen
- Search for IPTV Smarters Pro, available on most Tizen models, and install it
- If your model doesn't list it, install Smart IPTV instead and register the TV's MAC address on the Smart IPTV website, then load your IPTVON M3U link there
- Launch the app and select Xtream Codes API or M3U URL to enter your IPTVON login
Setting Up IPTVON on an LG Smart TV
- Open the LG Content Store from the home screen
- Search for IPTV Smarters Pro or a similar Xtream Codes-compatible player and install it
- If it isn't available in your region's store, use Smart IPTV the same way as on Samsung — register the MAC address, then load your IPTVON M3U playlist through its web portal
- Open the installed app and enter your Xtream Codes or M3U details to load channels
Entering Your Xtream Codes or M3U Login
Whichever app you land on, the login step looks the same: choose Xtream Codes API if IPTVON sent you a username, password, and server address, or choose M3U URL if you received a single playlist link. Type the server address in full, including http:// or https://, since a missing prefix is one of the most common reasons a Smart TV login fails on the first try.
Once your channels load, check the program guide to confirm show titles and times are displaying correctly — that confirms EPG is working alongside your live channels.
